Search for “cmd” and open “Command Prompt”

Running the command “ncpa.cpl” will open “Network Connections”

Right-click on the network adapter and choose “Properties”

Choose “Internet Protocol Version 2 (TCP/IPv4)” and click on “Properties”

Choose “Use the following IP address”

Then go back into “Command Prompt” and run the command “ipconfig”

Insert the IPv4 Address from Command Prompt into “IP-address”, then type in the Subnet Mask and Default Gateway before clicking on “OK”
(Optimally, there should be more than one domain controller, and the Preferred DNS server should be set to another DC)

This server now got a static IP address set.
